Resident Evil Revelations
Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield are back in Resident Evil Revelations, set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and 5. Taking place on an abandoned ship, players must confront the horrors within while uncovering the origins of a deadly new threat.

Resident Evil Revelations was a bit of a disappointment. The story is pretty dumb and honestly doesn't make a lot of sense — hard to follow in a way that felt like it just wasn't well written rather than being intentionally mysterious.
The limited weapon selection was genuinely annoying. You don't get much to work with and the game doesn't feel like it gives you enough tools to feel empowered, which clashes with how the combat wants you to play.
The last boss was way too hard for what the rest of the game was. The difficulty spike felt unfair rather than satisfying, like it wasn't tuned in line with the rest of the experience.
Not a total write-off — it's still a Resident Evil game and has its moments — but it's definitely one of the weaker entries.
