I first played Resident Evil 2 Remake back in 2020 with Claire A and loved it. Just finished Leon B and it holds up — the two campaigns complement each other well and seeing the same events from a different angle adds a lot.

The game is tense, well paced, and the atmosphere in the RPD is excellent. Leon's campaign in particular has a great flow to it.

The one thing that drags it down is the zombie durability. You can headshot a zombie multiple times and they just keep getting up. Even with the shotgun you're sometimes putting in more than one shot to drop something that should be dead. It breaks the tension a bit when you're dumping ammo into a zombie's skull and it's still crawling after you. It's a minor frustration in an otherwise great game, but it's consistent enough to notice.
